Fine Indian Cuisine...and loads of laughs!

On Sunday I went met Philip and Jey at Clay Pit in Dallas. Clay Pit is an Indian food restaurant that Philip and I ate at many years ago with our friend Kunal. Jey wanted to eat there, so Philip and I were glad to put this dinner together. Jey was so excited he even agreed to break his "I never eat before 8pm" rule and we met at 6:30!

We had wonderful food! Chicken Korma, Fish Coconut Curry, and Lamb Biriyani. When eating Indian food, one has the ability to choose how spicy the food is. We ordered the Korma and the Curry at a 3 (a medium heat) and the Biriyani at a 5. We had Naan bread (mine was cream cheese Naan, the boys shared some plain Naan) too. The Biriyani by itself was quite spicy, but when you added the yogurt and the cream cheese Naan, it was quite tasty! :)

When we'd finished eating and got ready to leave I remembered I had my camera with me. We decided we should take some pics to commemorate the evening. Here they are:

First, a picture of Philip and Jey -- sometimes a flash isn't so wonderful!!!

Then it was time for a picture of me and Philip. Suffice it to say, it wasn't as easy as it looks! Here's Take 3 (the first 2 had my eyes closed...so we moved locations - but it was too dark)

This was Take 5 where we moved back to the old location and convinced my eyes to stay open, but it was still dark....

This has to be somewhere around Take 10 -- Tada!!!!!

Then it was Jey's turn for a picture with me...notice we moved to a different, better lit location and my eyes are open....sorta...

Then silliness ensued. The product? CLOSE UPS!

Somewhere in all the silliness Jey begged me not to post some picture (that has now been posted on both FB and the blog!) and I got this picture.

We then decided Philip should do it too...
We had to give him a few pointers....
...but he finally got it! Namaste Philip!
Then, at the very end, I decided I should have a picture of just me...so here I am! :)

What a fun time! :)
