I was just informed that one of my students has been diagnosed with viral menengitis. This sickness is scary enough without the further complications this baby has! He has been sick most of his 5 years of life and last year had a kidney transplant. I have worked very hard with this sweet kiddo since school started to get some of the behaviors and such under control and he has come sooo far! I, in the meantime, grown to love this baby! The good news is there are antibiotics to treat it and he will be ok. It's just scary for him and his family. I am hoping to go see him Thursday and take him a card from the school. Please keep him and his family in your prayers! He needs a COMPLETE healing!
